Is Fuckbook a scam?

Fuckbook is a hookup community for the social media age. But how does it compare to a typical NSA hook-ups dating site?

We've often wondered what effect social networks have on dating sites, and whether there is a place in our lives for both. Fuckbook has tried to answer this by creating what is essentially a social dating site. It's not completely focused on individual chats and encourages wider interaction. But to make things even more interesting, it is very much an adult site, making it arguably the biggest x-rated social network out there.

The main landing page seems like any typical flirty sex search site. There is no mention here of the social media aspect that this site undoubtably has. After you sign up you are asked to verify your email, presumably to stop spammy registrations, although you can still complete your profile and access the site for searches until you have a chance to check your email. Keeping the non-genuine members out is clearly important to Fuckbook, which is nice to see. They push hard for members to verify not just their email, but their whole account, by adding a photo in your profile holding a piece of paper with the date and your username. The incentive being that you receive a verified “tick” on your profile – twitter style – to show that you are who you say you are. More importantly though, this verified check lets you see which of the single hotties you're flicking through have gone through this process.

In the members area there is a Facebook styled list of members that are currently online to allow you to initiate real time naughty chats in one click. There's also a newsfeed on the site that is regularly updated and displays recent features that have been added to the site, or any flirt/ hookup based competitions that they are currently running on Fuckbook. The members area is generally well designed and intuitive.

Fuckbook isn't just similar to a certain social network in name, it's also got a real social network feel about it. Running searches like a typical casual or NSA online dating site is not the way here, its more about making friends, posting updates and keeping your profile up to date.

To read and send messages you are required to upgrade to a paying memberhip on the site. Commenting on photos in your time line also requires full membership. However, you can make 'friends' with members and add posts to your own profile timeline using the free trial. It's clear though that any meaningful chats with the sexy singles you find on Fuckbook will mean upgrading to Premium.

There's no denying that Fuckbook is different from your average hookup dating site. The social network/ social media approach is refreshing and definitely makes the site stand out in what is a crowded market. The ability to write blogs, post photo updates or create a pin board makes you feel like you've discovered a site that has taken the best parts of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest and mixed them all together, before icing this particular social cake with a sprinkling of hardcore adult action. It's a new way to get adult chats and interaction going, and there's no way you'll hear us complaining. As the majority of our reviews tend to involve us crying out for something different and innovative, we can only say “well done” to Fuckbook.

Ultimately, your level of success (in the physical sense) on this site will depend on how many people you befriend that live locally to you or where you travel to. We can't help but feel that the inability to easily search by distance is a little restrictive. But if you can find friends to meet with then you're chances of getting laid here are as good as anywhere. The site is fairly busy and at the very least, you're going to get interaction – if you didn't then it wouldn't be very social now, would it?

We always recommend that you sign up to more than one NSA dating site to increase your chances of getting laid and hooking up (Check out our Adult Friend Finder Review & BeNaughty Review). That is even more relevant with Fuckbook, because of it's different angle to finding no strings fun. There's no doubt it's worth adding this particular string to your hookup dating bow.
