Are you single and ready to mingle? This site could be just what you're looking for...
Is Mingle2Day Worth Joining?
Mingle2Day.com is part of a larger network of sites that cater for singles from all different walks of life and helps them to find companionship, love or whatever else they're searching for. This site is their flagship brand, and although it isn't as 'niche' as some of the partner dating sites, it's a popular site for serious daters that merits a closer look. You can access Mingle2Day via desktop, laptop, tablet or via their mobile site on any kind of phone. There's a lot of content on their front page about meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds, which is always nice of course, but made us wonder if this was an internet dating site that might not have too many people close by. Our concerns were quickly put to bed once we logged on and ran our first search, which found plenty of people in each of the cities we tested it in (in both the UK and USA).
The members area itself isn't the most stylish we've reviewed, but again the number of single people looking for love on the site is high enough that its a vibrant, hub of activity, making any complaints about the layout or colours seem like pointless nitpicking.
Features And Functionality Of Mingle2Day
The site has several different features and overall functionality is fine. You can perform 'quick' searches for singles as part of the free trial but have to upgrade in order to run an advanced searches (where you filter by city or postcode rather than geographical area). Moreover, you can wink at your matches but to send or read messages from potential dates you need to upgrade to the full version. There's an instant chat option available for when your matches are online at the same time as you, along with a “flirt” area, accessible from the main navigation, that let's you flick through local members using a Tinder style search, sending one click “flirts” out to break the ice with people you'd like to get to know better.
One feature that we don't often see in these reviews (and that we feel would be great on all dating sites) is the built in video and voice chat feature. This is good for so many things, but most importantly it let's you see and speak to the person you're thinking of dating before you actually meet together. It's party safety – part let's see if there's a spark face to face and can all be done from the comfort of your own home. Sure, there will be guys using the site in the hope of getting a naughty peek at women, but used sensibly and correctly this really is a great tool for an online dating company to have on their singles site.
Conclusion: Is Mingle2Day Worth Joining?
If you're looking for singles in your area online and thinking of trying Mingle2Day, don't be fooled by the dull grey interior. If you're willing to invest a little time and effort you'll soon find out that this is a site that can be both exciting and eye opening. With pinpoint precision search functionality and features like web cam integration, the technology is there. The members are there too – the site has a lot of single people, most of whom seem fairly active. All in all we'd say this site is worth checking out, if only to give it a test run for a while. If you're in a city we tested in, then you'll see genuine members looking for relationships. And as any serious daters know, that's half the battle.
As always at the end of our reviews, we'd like to point out that it's good practice to test a few dating sites at once in order to boost your chances of setting up local dates as well as getting a feel for the site that suits you best. We'd recommend 2-3 sites at any given time, ditching the ones that don't work for you every couple of months. It takes commitment to find commitment, but with effort, time and a little luck, you'll find your special someone before long! Good luck!
We decided to review Yamvoo based on some positive feedback we'd recently received about this quirky little site. So,with that in mind, did we find a site that is boiling over with eligible singles or, on the contrary, is this the site where the online dating bubble has finally popped? Read on to find out...
As the flagship brand for the Friend Finder Networks behemoth, FriendFinder.com has the history, user numbers and financial muscle...but does that translate to romantic results? We felt it was time to find out!
I'm in my mid thirties and completely new to internet dating. Seems like down here in Arizona we're a bit late to the party! Not ever tried match or any other dating agencies (cant remember the other big ones) so cant honestly say how it compares, but I aint having no problems with mingl2day dates, seems to do everything its supposed to and I do believe I could definitely have a relationship through this website. I like the people who have replied so far and I like the stuff to do on the site. I read the blog articles. I would recommend this site to a friend, why not, right? Its inexpensive and beats reading facebook time lines all day to see which of my friends are having kids next!
Mingle 2day is a nice looking site, I must admit I got my expectations up a little when I joined a few weeks back. But it's been a major let down on a massive scale. Not very good Do I like this dating site? Not really. Twee name aside, it lacks the number of members in my area that I see compared to other dating sites. That's a biggie for me, so ill not be returning soon. A bad poem for a worse website I signed up to this site last night I thought that it would be alright I thought that it would be alright but it turned out to be sh*te
It's hard to find a really decent online dating site so my rating is perhaps a little harsh but bottom line is ive not found romance (aside from two or three awkward dates which def dont count) so I cant go giving it a high score. It does work, I mean you get dates, but for me nothing has 'stuck'.
Cool site, not so sure about “great fun” but does the job, ive had dates

Tts all pretty standard stuff i'd say, more or less. Nice little site that does what it says on the tin but I dont think I would say its the most fun site out there, but it works and thats more important than fun. You can get dates with real women, that would be my headline about this site if I was reviewing it. Fun...meh. Dates...yeah.
I've tried some pretty darn bonzer net dating sites but this one ranks among the worst ive tried. Theres a severe lack of sheila's as far as I can see. One to avoid matey, take it from an aussie that knows his dating sites!
I've been using online dating for the past 10 months (jeez has it been that long) and I've figured out that it works best to have 3 memberships simultaneously. Just gives you more of a chance of getting dates regularly (and if your unlucky like me you need as many as possible to meet people you deem 'relationship material'). Mingle2Day has one of my slots atm and ill certainly keep it going another month or two (unless I'm swept of my feet before then of course!)
Wasn't really sure what to expect from this online dating site. Still new to the whole thing (ive joine a couple of sites but not had many dates so def not an expert yet!!!). It's easy to use and def holds its own against the other sites I've been trying out. Will keep using it – it's not amazing by any means, I still have to wait a while for replies - but it seems popular so it's worth signing up and keeping up your sleeve to help stave away those quieter weekends.
Heck, I like this site. Sure, i've read a few negative reviews and people (including here) saying it's nothing worth writing home about but I like it. Been speaking to some nice ladies and I'm having fun and enjoying single life again (at first after the divorce I was at a loss, let me tell you). Maybe I've only tried bogus sites so far but for me this is a real step up. Make your own mind up though and good luck to you! By Mr. B in Toronto
Don't ignore mingle2day, that's my advice. Maybe you dont hear about it as much as match but so what? The women i've spoken to are single, real and interested in a serious relationship so yes, go for it and you may have to pay a few bucks but it helps to keep away the trash 8/10
Gave this a shot after gettin a bit p*ssed off with my usual “go to” dating site. Long, long, long story short, theyre customer services let me down so I closed my account. So ended up findin mingle2day by acident reely but its quite busy, more than I thot it wud be neway. Lewis, Staines

I filled the form out on mingle2day and my hope was to meet some nice people, chat in the evenings and maybe even have a date a few months down the line. Imagine my shock when I had arranged my first date after a couple of weeks!! Sure it's probably easier for women but still, I'm impressed. It's not free though, you should know that (I mean if you want to send messages and everything you do have to pay and they don't make that very clear when you fill out the form).
I signed up to this on a bit of a whim, I'm not gonna lie. So I'm pretty stoked with the way that it's completely outperformed my expectations. It's an awesome option (I use it in the US but presumably it's available in Canada too) and something a little different from the usual dating site choices that you soon realize don't work quite as well as their marketing might suggest!
Just joined Mingle2da and really like it. Totally agree with the main reviewer here. Looking forward to some adventures on this website and maybe even finding the “one” lol!!! That would be nice! Mingle2day for me feels new and modern compared to many other sites. I would recommend and im hoping for the best here.
